Our service agreement with the City of Fredericksburg states that the Friends of the Fredericksburg Nature Center (FFNC) will provide volunteer labor and financial funding for the development and maintenance of the Fredericksburg Nature Center (FNC). For our 20+ years of history, FFNC has been able to honor that commitment through the generous donations of our members and supporters. The City of Fredericksburg has generously provided some additional funding for large infrastructure projects such as the pedestrian bridge across Live Oak Creek.

How have we spent your generous donations? Following is a list of just some of the numerous improvements and features that FFNC has implemented to FNC over the years. Add to that, funding that is required to maintain these features.
